Family Friend Inc. has been approved as a Private Home Care Provider under the Alberta Health Services (AHS) Client Directed Home Care Invoicing Program (CDHCI), allowing you to select Family Friend Inc. as the home care provider of your choice.

The Client Directed Home Care Invoicing Program (CDHCI) is a supportive option offered by AHS to support clients with their homemaking, respite and personal care needs. As an approved Care Provider, we support the services approved by the AHS Case Manager and we submit the bill to Alberta Blue Cross directly for the approved hours.

What is the CDHCI Program All About?
Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) is an option for Alberta Health Services (AHS) Home and Community Care clients to manage their own care. With CDHCI, clients can choose an agency that provides home care services that is registered with Alberta Blue Cross. This agency can provide services up to a maximum number of pre-approved hours per month, as authorized by AHS.

We submit the bill directly to Alberta Blue Cross, eliminating any paperwork or billing responsibilities on your part. Any amount that is not covered by the program, is invoiced to you separately.
